Program Coordinator
Job Type: Full-Time; 40 hours a week.
Schedule: Hybrid
Revive & Thrive Project (RTP) addresses the critical need for medically supportive meals for those facing health crises in the greater Grand Rapids area. RTP delivered over 17,000 meals to 270 individuals in 2023, focusing on cancer, heart disease and Diabetes. Clients receive nutritious, home-delivered meals for up to 24 weeks during treatment. RTP is volunteer powered with over 45 volunteers participating each week, and also runs a teen program to empower young individuals with culinary and leadership skills.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Program Coordinator to join our team. The Program Coordinator plays a vital role in our organization, serving as the connection between our brand, our programs, and the community we serve. This multifaceted position is responsible for the coordination and execution of our client, teen, and volunteer programs, ensuring they align with our organizational goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the executive director and stakeholders to develop program strategies and goals.
• Create program plans, including timelines, and resources required.
• Manage the day-to-day execution of programs as well as managing budgets to ensure responsible allocation of resources.
• Responsible for client intake, coordination, and tracking,
• Review healthcare provider referrals to determine client eligibility.
• Conduct telephone intakes with all potential new clients to provide information about RTP meal service, answer client questions, and arrange for enrollment paperwork completion.
• Oversee interns as needed.
• Analyze and verify nutritional content of meals and calorie supplements.
• Build and maintain relationships with program partners, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate program progress and outcomes to funders, board members, and the community.
• Develop and implement data collection and evaluation strategies to measure program impact.
• Analyze program data and create reports to assess effectiveness and make improvements.
• Recruit, train, and lead volunteers and teens.
• Coordinate and communicate with volunteers to ensure all shifts are full.
• Ensure program compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and grant requirements.
• Manage delivery coordinator.
Qualifications:
• Strong project management, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels.
• Must be comfortable working with people with serious illness and able to remain professional and neutral concerning a client’s illness and treatment choices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
